Installation
Provide ongoing support for Middleware software (MQ & Message Broker). Oversee the installation, upgrade, testing, and maintenance of Middleware software and hardware in multiple server and multiple network operating system environments spanning multiple computer sites. Is accountable to ensuring that detailed work plans for both installation and continuing maintenance are followed.
WEBSPHERE MQ & MB Configuration and Tuning
Configures and monitors WEBSPHERE MQ & MB software for optimum performance. Oversees server software monitoring and tuning on a regular basis. Produces statistics on performance and is responsible for identifying and resolving system performance problems.
Performs problem resolution for WEBSPHERE MQ & MB software as needed, this is usually the most challenging problems staff cannot correct. Conducts research and testing to determine cause and makes necessary corrections. Recommends changes in WEBSPHERE MQ & MB or application to maintain or enhance performance and is pro-active in the area of problem resolution and prevention.

Experience in MQ Clustering and Distributing
Message Broker Architecture and components
Broker Management - create, start, stop, delete etc
Creation of Qmgrs, MQ objects and applying the associated MQ permissions
WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit enhancements
WebSphere Message Broker Explorer
Using WebSphere Message Broker Explorer
Execution groups
Deploying BAR files
Executing Flows
Administration security
WebSphere Message Broker Explorer administrative security
Experience in Production Support, Incident Management, Change Management , Problem Management
Analytical skills
Troubleshooting skills
High Availability with or more of the above mentioned platforms
Provides 24/7 technical support.
