QA Engineer focused on IP Video testing.
The resource in this role will need to have basic understanding of the IP video architecture and how the industry is evolving to deliver content over IP.
An engineering background is highly desired.
Required Skills:
1. General Networking Skills
2. Functional IP Video Knowledge
3. Functional testing experience
4. Technical System level skills
Desired Skills:
Experience using networking protocol analyzer (i.e. Wire Shark)
CDN (desirable)
MPEG (i.e. encoding/decoding)
Video Stream (desirable)
Home Gateway experience (desirable)
General Video Delivery Network desirable)
Exposure to video guide data
Video entitlements
Encoding and Content Ingest (desirable)
CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) exposure
An engineering background is highly desired.
