{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Tidal Basin Outing - Friday June 29

I ended up going to Gravelly Point instead - no luck.  It was about 104 degrees while I was there, so I'm sure the fish were feeling as sluggish as I was.  I didn't make it much longer than an hour, but it was good practice casting none-the-less!

Hello TPFRs,

I'm taking off of work early on Friday and heading over to the Tidal Basin.  High tide is at 5pm, so I'm planning to be there a little before (3:30 or 4:00) so I can catch the tide rushing into the basin and then again on the way out.  I've never been there before, so I'd love some company/advice.  It's supposed to be pretty hot, but I'm hoping it will be a good afternoon anyway.  Anyone interested in joining or sending me off with some tips?

Thanks!
Paul
