My mother lives in same town the late Dick Talleur moved to.  Amen on the guide for local knowledge. The inshore tidal waters are amazing and mystifying to me.

Lots of opportunity down there, but you need to know the areas and how the flood and a local guide is key.  This is not something you can drive down to and DIY.
