{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Fly Fishing in Charleston, SC

That Holiday Inn on the Ashley is a decent spot. As the tide drops out there is a sandy shoreline in between the bridges with artificial oyster reef bags. I have fished a few times out at Ft. Johnson, but weekends the gates are usually locked, so you have to walk in. As far as forums go, this is the best resource http://www.charlestonfishing.com/forum/default.asp?CAT_ID=2

Hey everyone,

I just recently moved to Charleston for school and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good fly fishing spots anywhere in the area. As a college student, I cannot afford to get a guide to take me anywhere, so I'm relying on this forum to lead me to success. My main focus is reds, but I would be happy with anything I could hook. Let me know where you guys have had success if you've ever been down there.
