{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} erie tribs report/start of new trip

Hey everyone,

Erie report
Sorry this is so late.  Me and a few friends from college did get up to erie the other weekend.  had a great 2 day trip, stayed at the maple inn on walnut creek.  over all we landed 20 fish and broke off another 10 or 15.  the trout beads were great, allowed us to change colors fast, and never had a hook outside of the corner of the jaw.  there is a pic below of our 3 nicest fish.

new trip
due to election day next tuesday we have another day off and want to chase some WV wild browns or rainbows.  We are looking for some big-ish water.  ive heard about the Potomac just below the Jennings Randolph Lake.  Does anyone have any personal experiences there, or suggest another river?  Trying to stay around a 2-3 hour drive from Morgantown, WV , and want to try a river other then the Elk (great stream, but we want a little veriety).

Hope you enjoy the pic and thanks in advance for any suggestions about a new trip,
,
