That's a good area there under the bridge. I haven't fished it in years but I use to do well catching chain pickerel there. Only place in the river I've ever caught them.

After several unsuccessful tries, finally connected with some fish at Gravelly point. Per what seems to be usual, caught fish on an outgoing tide around dusk. Three stripers, 10-15 inches in a half hour. All caught on a blue-green-gold metallic popper with trailing white buck tail hair. A blurry (was dark) picture of the largest is attached. It looked to be over 15 inches and fat.
