I see that tenkara has people writing that "connection to nature" stuff....but where are the wrist tattoos and fixed gear bikes?  Didn't tenkara start as a means of more effectively stripping as many fish as possible out of beautiful mountain streams (i.e. commercial fishing)?  I don't want to be associated with meat fishing -- I'm an artist!   

I also refuse to use deet and long-sleeved clothing.  I'd rather just let mosquitoes bite me.  Pulling ticks off of your underwear line is natural!

Lastly spent half a day on Jeremy's run in SNP last Sunday. Gorgeous day caught some several small brookies while learning to cast in the tight canopy and overhead brush. No pictures sadly.
