Rob, I think you're talking about Little Seneca Lake in Black Hills Regional Park. I've also heard about the in Lake Needwood, but that was before they drained it and dredged it. Not sure if they're still in there.

I'm headed down toward Luray this winter to look for some. Last one I saw was in Burke Lake a few years back. I used to hear about a lake in MoCo that had a lot.

I don't think they're all over the place in the Tidal Potomac, but this fish was supposedly shocked up at Fletcher's in 2010:
