Went out to the C&O Canal this morning to target carp. They're definitely out in full force. I probably saw 20 of them in 3 hours. The water was really low and I was able to get down on the banks below the path. I literally threw my entire fly box at these guys and they couldn't be bothered.--I was able to land a few smallies and the fall weather is beautiful, so all in all, a great morning, but what's the deal with these carp? I started with a small woolly bugger, then a worm pattern, then a mulberry pattern... a few looks, but mostly they didn't even notice the flies.Have you guys had any luck with a specific pattern or technique out there?Matt
