Position: Java designer

No of Positions: 6

Location: Bloomington, IL

Duration: 6+ months

Experience Level : Minimum 8+ years of experience:

· Implementing high quality, scalable and extendable Java/J2EE solutions

· Design and implement development workflow Coding, testing and implementing solutions in a Java/J2EE environment.

· Taking directions from management in implementing solutions.

· Unit testing for all assigned deliverables.

· Soft Skills:

· Must be able to create a design that other team members will follow.

· Can effectively voice their opinion in a room full of people.

· Communication- both written and verbal.

· Teamwork - works creatively with team members to create solutions together Problem solving abilities Willingness to learn Self-directed Initiative Leadership, good communication skills, critical thinking.

· Ability to translate requirements to software solutions.

· Ability to challenge ideas in a respectful, constructive way.

· Facilitation skills needed for design sessions

Technical Skills :

· J2EE, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, JQuery /Ajax, Spring MVC

· Any knowledge of Mustache templates (open source frameworks).

· Twitter bootstrap is a plus ·

· Knowledge of SCM tools like Maven, SVN etc.

· Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks like Junits, EasmyMock etc.

Soft Skills:

· Should possess superior problem solving skills ·

· Should possess excellent communication skills, should be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
