{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Advice on Guanacaste province inCosta Rica

i went there last spring to Playa Grande and fished right off the surf. there is an inlet there that fishes well on incoming tides.  ALthough there was red tide that ruined most of the fishing, Big jacks and snoook are possible, and had a few monster jacks crashing bait at my feet on a couple of occasions. There's roosters as well but didn't see any.  In the back waters there a lots of snapper.   Good luck!

I'm going to the Guanacaste province in Costa Rica over Christmas and was wondering if anybody has any local knowledge.  Inland, surf, or off shore this time of year?
Thanks,
