{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Four Mile Run on 12-14-12

Today, 12-20-12 I went back to four mile run.  I caught two blue gill and that was it!

I noticed that the carp didn't seem to be surfacing as much as they were the other day.  Probably the cooler weather or the front that seems to be passing through tonight.

I am still wondering how you all are catching carp on the fly.  I have the strike indicator about 6 feet from my bead head nymph.  I am fishing the nymph slowly.  Is this the right technique?
