Salt Lake City. �The mountains backing SLC are a bit steep for good fishing right there, but from Provo up to Ogden, there is quite a bit available and if you just can get up into the moutains, you're set.
Idaho falls doesn't quallify as a big city, but the "within 2 hours drive" test puts you into the holy grail of trout waters.
Chicago itself isn't great for fly fishing, but there is quite a bit of good shore fishing into Lake Michigan, but any place in Wisconsin would do you well.
Then there is the Florida, Louisiana area. � There are a lot of places that would be fun to live for a year or two.
