Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Air Brush system

Copic airbrush system is cool.  It makes completely awesome poppers.  You will need good epoxy to cover it.  I used 5-minute epoxy and could only do a couple poppers before it started to get lumpy.  30-minute or 60-minute clear epoxy are what you need.  They don't make much of a mess.  You can use the markers directly on the poppers.

I used Wapsi popper bodies and they worked great.

Ok,  I just bought a copic marker air brush system.  It should arrive in a few days.  I plan on using it over the holidays.  If all goes well and the poppers come out like I hope they would I'll bring it to a beer tie for others to check out.

Thinking about a buying a Copic air brush system for myself as a Christmas gift.  Besides painting bass poppers I  find that I am needing different color feathers, deer hair, rabbit, etc.   I am thinking this air brush system could solve the color choices on a variety of different materials.   I"ve been watching the U Tube videos on it and it looks interesting.  Anyone out there have any experience with it. Thanks
