Job Title: Contract DB Developer
Department: Business Technology Group
Length: initial 4 month contract ( strong possibility to be extended).
Pay Rate: $55-$60/hr
Job Duties: Create SSIS packages, accurate and efficient SQL Server queries and stored procedures; Design new database structures and create enhancements for existing schemas; Performance profiling and turning; Create deployment packages; Ensure code is consistent with existing conventions.
Job Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server in a commercial environment with working knowledge of the following SQL Server technologies:
· T-SQL and stored procedure development
· Performance tuning and query optimization
· SQL Server Integration Services
· Proficiency building relational schemas using industry standard database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
· Proficiency implementing ETL solutions with SSIS.
· Comfortable working in an agile team environment,
· Good people skills
· Keen attention to detail
· Professional appearance and demeanor
Job Description: Collaborate with Business owners, systems architect, development teams, and technical teams to discover, design, develop and deploy technical solutions using primary Microsoft technologies in an agile environment.
Minimum Required Education: College degree preferred
Minimum Required Experience: 5 years
