I fished at Riverbend Park tonight. I didn't do that great but a lot of my time was spent helping my friend learn some about flyfishing. The cool part is that my friend caught his first fish on a flyrod and it was about an 8" smallmouth bass. That is a pretty good start and he is definitely hooked.
I think that our wives were happy that we were out fishing because they did a girl function and told us that we weren't allowed to come back for a while. That was fine with us!
The fishing wasn't bad and the water was in great condition. Thanks for this suggestion! --
