Our Client is looking for 2 Change Analyst's for Boston, MA it's 3-6+ month contract.
Primary Responsibilities:
The candidate will work with Development & Product Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Configuration Management, Drafters, and Technical Writers to review, analyze, coordinate, track, mitigate issues, and process the submitted Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in a timely manner based on policy / procedural guidelines and systems.
Ensure the accuracy of engineering change order (ECO) submissions to minimize processing time between submission and implementation.
Responsible for tracking ECOs from inception to closure and consult with Development & Product Engineering or other resources for addressing release issues.
Enforce standards as they pertain to Engineering drawings and specifications.
Implementation of configuration management activities in regards to identification, control, status accounting, and audits.
Meet with production plan planners and CM's to conduct audits against implemented ECO's to ensure the effectivity.
Work Experience:
Industry experience in Aerospace, Space, Defense, Military, Semiconductor, Medical Device, or any other technical industry requiring detailed configuration change control.
Held position of ECO Coordinator, change analyst, configuration analyst, or document control specialist.
Familiarity and detail use of PLM solution; Agile, Windchill, ARAS, or other – full workflow system.
Working knowledge of administrator capabilities/processes for utilizing and or implementing a PLM/PDM.
Familiarity and detailed usage of Tier I ERP system – JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Oracle or SAP – SAP preferred.
Familiarity with the concepts of configuration management, engineering change control, and interchangeability rules for technical products – understanding of "Copy Exactly" guidelines is a plus.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or Associates degree with 4 years of professional experience.
Understanding and familiarity with engineering and document change orders required.
Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings and Bills of Material (BOM) required.
1+ years' experiences working on the ECR/ECO process in the manufacturing organization is a plus.
Be able to drive actions for completion on timely basis.
Well organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual.
Ability to multitask and adapt to a high pace environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent computer skills – MS Office suite, Excel a must, Word, PowerPoint a plus
Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
Must have advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, e-mail).
Capability to speak Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
Flexible schedule – can work early or late hours depending on need.
Requires limited direction or management – a self-starter.
Interest in programming / code development is a plus – opportunity for growth in group
