Rate: upto $55-60/hr depends

Duration: 6 Months

 

JOB SUMMARY

This position will work with application development teams, define, design and implement application architectures as it applies to interacting with relational databases.  This position will also be responsible for defining and creating relation data models.   This position will also be responsible for helping the developers to tune their queries for optimal use of database resources.

This position will also work with Oracle Data Service (ODSI) Integrator software.  

 

ILLUSTRATIVE ACCOUNTABILITIES

·Working  knowledge of Relational Theory

·Working  knowledge of Data Modeling Techniques

·Working knowledge of Oracle SQL tuning concepts

·Indexing, Hash Joins, Nested Loops

·Applications DBA tuning experience

·Query rewrite techniques

·Must be able to setup and understand multiple data sources for a project.

·Must understand ODSI Admin Console and be able to manipulate system parameters.

·Must understand caching mechanism within ODSI.

·Must be familiar with differences between and physical / logical / normalized data services and what distinguishes one from another.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

·         5+ years experience in creating and modeling Relational database table structures

·         5+ years experience performing Oracle SQL tuning

·         5+ years experience with Oracle PL/SQL

·         1 – 3 years ODSI experience

·         Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
