{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Colorful Fish

I was out fishing a small stream in upper Montgomery County practicing
my tree avoidance strategy for trout fishing. I did manage to catch a
few chub minnows on top and I hooked into this little boy on my dropper.
I thought it might be a rainbow, but it seems to be something else.

Does anyone have any ideas of what this colorful little fish is?
