IT Knowledge Requirements:

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Active Directory – Able to troubleshoot failures of application and OS services and identify root cause.  Able to troubleshoot problems with user permissions, including group membership and logon script problems.

Backup Systems  – Able to troubleshoot failures in Symantec Backup Exec backup jobs and configure new jobs.  Able to restore user files using Symantec Backup Exec.  Experience with restoring files using an enterprise-level backup system like Tivoli Storage Manager or Symantec NetBackup is also helpful, but not required.

         

If the candidate has any experience in MS Exchange 2007 and/or formulating software distributions, that would be nice, but is not required.

General Requirements (this is required):

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Will be communicating directly with end users at all levels of the company.

Understanding of Change Management principles.
