{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Little Hunting Creek Report - 11-2-2013

Got into a few Saturday morning at Little Hunting Creek (near Mt. Vernon). Biggest was this guy, maybe a little over 20" on a red Clouser, fished deep with a 7-weight. Other colors worked fine too. I think it was just a matter of putting it in front of the fish.

I've never had the 20-fish bonanza here that you can get at GP. But you can usually get a few fish and this is often a less-crowded option.  The channel is within casting reach from either side, even if you are a flailer like me.
