I agree. Carl McNeil is an FFF Master Casting Instructor. This is from his instructional video "casts that catch fish." He is a good guy and it is a good dvd for the library.

I came across this video on the Epic Rods site looking for fiberglass fly blanks (still looking for affordable options) but I thought this technique could really help me in some situations on the potomac where I feel that a normal mend is just too late once the line is on the water. I hope it helps. Also, I wish all casting videos were this clear.--Aden
