Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} switch rod for steelhead

I fished the Salmon River for the first time about a week and a half ago. I used a single handed 9-foot 8 wt. While It worked nicely, though I couldn't cover as much water as those who were using longer switch rods. 

I think you'd be happy with an 11-foot 8 weight.
