{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Cook lake - Alexandria, VA

Quick report -- I noticed this lake (more like a small pond) was stocked a few days ago and hit it for a couple of hours yesterday between my chores.  This is within about 2 miles from our place, so once in a while I'll fish it for bluegill when bored...or when I don't want to go wading somewhere.

I caught 3 small trout in my 2 hour window on everyone's favorite stockie pattern:  olive woolly buggers.

I ran into several bait guys there and chatted for a bit.  I think they were somewhat surprised that I wasn't keeping fish (you're allowed 4 per day if you choose).
