{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Beaverdam Reservoir

The biggest flatwater smallie I've caught in the state of Virginia came from Beaverdam. 21" fish that ate a black wooly bugger. I hope she is still in there growing.

If any of you like me have enjoyed the excellent fishing at this local reservoir, you need to read this:

Ernie Rojas brought it up last week at the Potomac River Smallmouth Club meeting. I've written a letter to Mr. Mark Peterson (mpet...@loudounwater.org), Executive Director of Stakeholder Relations, Loudoun Water, asking that Loudon Co reconsider a more reasonable way to do this project than a blanket 4 year prohibition on all public access. Hopefully he'll reply this week; if so I'll let you know. However I'd encourage any of you who also think this is over the top to likewise voice your opinion with Mr Peterson and Loudon County officials.
