{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: First Mako On the Fly and San Diego Report

BTW -- this "chumming" thing.  How many bucktails did you have to throw in the water to draw a shark in?  Would 70 or so do it?  

You need to create the illusion that there's like.....a whole school of minnows just partying off the shore right?  (Hank Patterson style)

I thought a carp ran hard -- brother, I'm not ready for mako sharks (or carp)!  I remember eating these packets of gummy sharks as a kid and always saving the mako shark until the end because they were "the fastest shark".
