{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Seneca Lake, Catharine Creek, Watkins Glen, NY

Heading to alma mater for reunion weekend in two weeks.

Question for that Sunday, when I figure I have about 6 hours to kill before heading home is:

Do I rent a kayak in Watkins Glen and fish the lower end of Seneca Lake and into the barge canal or do I head a little farther upstream and wade to fish Catharine Creek.

I know I'm well past the time for the rainbow run on the creek. Insight? Advice?
