{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} help with new species

Hello all,

As I am back at WVU for schooling, it was brought to my attention that there is a moderately healthy hybrid striper population near campus.  I have never fished for these guys.  I have tried tossing my articulated streamers(only one joint) with some sinking line at them so far around dusk near the tail water of a small lock and dam with no success.  I have managed to find many large and small mouth but would like to target the new species. I am open to any and all thoughts?
Thanks,
Dan Barrett
