It is a river. Thanks for the feed back so far. Sounds like brown and white streamers with some sink tip is my best next attempt. The river is betwen 6 and 18 feet if I had to make ad educated guess. If they dont work, might have to wait till next season. I have already spent my fly tying this year on articulated ones for trout, they opened my eyes to winter trout fishing.
