I called several guides earlier in April about the flats, and most expressed that things were pretty empty there this year. I'm currently exploring a trip to Long Island in October for the "fall frenzy" of bluefish/stripers that migrate from up north to warmer waters. Anyone done on the fly? Guide recommendations?
