I wanted it so I went and got it last June: Appomattox River Co demo day is excellent. I went to try as many kayaks as possible and it was fun but also mind boggling the number of makes and models of boats available to try. They'll provide a PFD, but it you have your own, take it with you. Factory reps will be there not only for the boats but also for accessories, paddles, etc.
