I am looking to hit the canal soon. Never fished it before. Is fishing near the Key Bridge worth it, in Georgetown? How deep is the canal there, is it shallow enough for carp to tail? Great pics, too! Glad to see fishing is beginning to pick up for folks. I look forward to being more active here.

Nice, good for you, Will. I fished for carp down there a few times last summer and just couldn't "get" the take and hook-up. I'll keep trying."McTage's foam trouser worm" - good thing this is a flyfishing site, elsewhere in polite society such a phrase might draw looks of opprobrium. ;-)Mark
