I was actually fishing a wet fly.  I only saw one rise all day and I promptly switched to a dry and caught him.  Then I went back to the swinging the wet fly and proceeded to catch fish until dark.  I will add, always be aware of the weather.  The fish feed differently depending on whether its sunny, overcast, rainy, etc.
