{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: New Years Resolutions

Gink and gasoline had a recent post on this also, i thought number 1 was the best. Spend more time fishing with the people I love. http://www.ginkandgasoline.com/fly-fishing/2014-fly-fishing-new-years-resolutions/

I'm going to add one more to his list. I want to make good on all the conversations I've had with coworkers and acquaintances who have expressed an interest in fly fishing. I want to take those people out, show them what it's all about, and get more people involved. I have so many friends who have said they'd love to try it out and I'm going to commit to introducing more people to fly fishing in 2014.

To follow up from Rob Snowhite's post from last year, and the ones from years past, does anyone have any fishing related New Years resolutions?

How did you do on your resolutions from last year?

I didn't post mine last year but I decided that I wanted to catch a fish in their native environment every month, which ended abruptly in February when I went fishless for the first month in a few years. This year I think I need to tone that back a bit and have the goal of catching a new native species, which is somewhat easily attainable locally and especially so with travel.
