Ha! We were there today around from about 12 to 12:30 - we saw 3 guys with big nets and no other fishing gear...
Didn't see them get anything, but we saw plenty of Snakeheads and 1 Shad.

I saw that same guy last year on the occoquan. He broke his spear 1st try and had to leave. I would have felt bad for him if I didn't watch him walk past 3 no trespassing signs to access the upper occoquan at the fall line. You can only legally access this area by watercraft.
