{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: SAVE THE DATE! Family and Youth Casting Call May 3rd and 4th

Brad -

I signed up online but didn't get any feedback (acknowledgement or instructions, etc).  Should I sign up again or are there plans to send out a bulk email soon?

We need volunteers! Volunteers to help kids fish and otherwise keep this event running smoothly. We start in the morning each day and wrap up in the mid-afternoon. We provide breakfast, lunch and an event t-shirt.

Since 2007 we have hosted a free kids fishing day at Fletcher's Boathouse on the Potomac. Last year we had over 750 kids and their parents attend the two day event. The Friday May 3rd event is an invite only event for DC and MD school kids. The Saturday May 4th event is open to the public. We stock a portion of the C&O canal, provide all the equipment and a host of other educational activities for the kids when not fishing.

We count on TPFR to provide the volunteers that keep this event running. This year we made a conscious decision not to schedule the event in conflict with the Virginia Flyfishing Festival so more TPFR members could participate.

Please go to http://www.familyandyouthcastingcall.com/volunteers/volunteer-registration and sign up if you want to participate! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask either in this thread or by contacting me directly.

Thanks TPFR,

Brad
