{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Mid-March Saltwater?

The lady has a short break from med school in mid-March and wants to go to the beach. I figure it is a good time to get some time on the saltwater. I haven't done a whole lot of saltwater fly fishing, and non this early in the year. 

Searching the forum was pretty fruitless, so anyone have any suggestions on where we might go that I could find some fish? I think we're looking at no more than an 8 hour drive - somewhere between Cape May and Savannah.
