I'm hoping to use the long weekend to get some good time on the water in. Anyone have any suggestions in VA? I'm willing to travel almost anywhere in the state. My college buddy, who works down at the Homestead, said fishing on the Jackson (my home turf) has been pretty bad for the last couple weeks, so now I'm looking at other options.
Also, got skunked last night at the Tidal Basin - not a single hit. Fished a variety of olive, chartreuse, and red clousers and bead head buggers from the bridge up on the side opposite the Jefferson memorial.
