{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders}

ALright so im sorry to be so late with the story and pictures. A few weeks ago a few guys mentioned Penn Creek on here when I asked about a PA stream. That was an awesome stream. my dad drove up from DC and I met him over there. Since it was a 3 hour drive for both of us, we felt the first time there a guide wouldnt be a bad thing.Penn Creek Anglers hooked us up with a guide the night before we were going fishing. Talk about luck. So we fished all day the 13th from about 10am till dark. My dad and I both landed many large browns (about 8-10 apiece), lost count of the chubs and a few smallies. The whole day was spent with dry flies. Some BWOs and spinners at night. So all in all it was a great trip.

We felt adventurous last weekend so we met up again at the stream this time guideless. and figured we could find the spots again and catch some fish. we found them slowly, got lost a few times. But thats the fun in being outdoors. We each landed a brown that was well into the 15" range. Not as many trout as our first time, but still a great day on the water. We had skipped this really deep section the weekend before, so i brought some really big streamers i tied up during the week and figured there had to be a huge brown in the deep water. Well i was wrong, but i found a few big smallies in the 2lb range. Ill try and put a few pics of fish below.

If anyone is goin up there or wants any pics of the flies, feel free to hit me up. I always take great notes when im fishing.

Thanks for the suggestion guys,
