Good Morning TPFR!
This is a bit early since Christmas is still a month away, but I'm trying to make a plan for my dad, brother, and I to get some fishing in while they are both in town from college and work travel. Obviously it'll be cold, so we'll have to pray for some warmer days to take advantage of.
For location - I've read a lot of posts about fishing 4MR and other locations near a warm water discharge in the winter, so that may be a good option. What I haven't been able to find are some winter reports on Holmes run and Accotink. I know they were recently stocked, though I'm not familiar enough with the area to know what it will look like a month from now. Are these spots successful in the winter? Anyone have any experience/advice?
