I am not a believer in fishing two handed rods for the sake of it, but I imagine you could use one on the shenandoah. Fish probably wouldn't match up to that rod but you could still use it. Maybe the James? Rappahannock? If you are open to driving to NY then there are a ton of places you could use it for steelhead. People also use them on the delaware for trout and shad.
NB Potomac also came to mind but you already had that.
