I hate to be a wet blanket, but I don't think "lightning perch" is quite right. Channa argus means Argus perch, where Argus was a hundred-eyed giant from Greek mythology (I had to look it up); according to the myth, after Argus died his eyes were transferred to the peacock.
Argus also means a watchful or vigiliant person -- which is totally spot-on, if you've ever seen a Channa Argus watching you while you fish.
"Lightning Perch" seems to have come from a Reuters article earlier this year. I can't find any other source that backs up that nomenclature.
So Argus perch or Vigil perch would be more apt.
