{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Goodbye Old Friend R.I.P.

They just reformatted the mag less than a year ago didn't they???  I thought it became way too much like Field and Stream (fun to flip through, but not really that informative).

At least there is still the Drake and Fly Fishing Journal...

We are sorry to inform you Fly Fishing in Salt Waters Magazine is discontinuing publication effective with the November/December 2013 issue

Notice to subscribers: The good news is that in Fly Fishing in Salt Waters place, you will receive Salt Water Sportsman for the total number of copies remaining on your subscription.
We're confident you will enjoy Salt Water Sportsman – it is the world's largest saltwater fishing magazine offering loads of how-to information, advice for those who travel within the greater U.S. and surrounding waters, and reviews of new boats, tackle and electronics.

I appreciate their confidence but Salt Water Sportsman is not for me.  Its too much an offshore boat fishing mag.  The reading room will not be the same.  I suppose the old Salt Water Fly Fishing mag is not around either.  Are E-mags killing the printed media?  Am I the last guy to actually ge a newspaper in my driveway?
