Despite the rain, I think we had a pretty good turn out last night. I was too busy tying to get a count - anyone else? I did see the Learning Table turn over 4 or 5 times, though. Attached are the few photos that I took.

This is a reminder to all that the next TPFR BEER TIE is tonight from 7PM-9PM at Whitlow's on Wilson. Details and directions can be found on our EVENTS PAGE. As mentioned in a previous post, I will not be in attendance tonight as I am en-route to Belize for the week, hoping to get into some big migratory Tarpon and some Permit (and plenty of Bonefish of course). Dalton is on the trip with me as well so you won't see him tonight either. Trent Jones and John Bilotta should both be there, so if you have any specific TPFR business to discuss please see one of them.Big thanks to Gene for running the Remick "friend - it could have been you" fund. To keep things simple, we will not be having a raffle, so if you were bringing a few bucks for tickets kindly think about tossing it into the Remick pot. If we generate way over the ticket amount the overage can always go to the club coffers.VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL!!!For the summer season, Whitlow's pulls the awning from over the patio we use for tying, so you'll be tying under the stars so to speak. The framing and the lights are still there, and with the 4 walls around the wind is not much of a factor at all. It's actually pretty sweet, I just dropped by Sunday night to check it out. Looking at the weather though, it appears things could be a bit wet out there. I'd suggest everyone just play it by ear and set up out back if the weather looks clear. Otherwise, feel free to bring some of the metal tables in along the wall with the windows (opposite the bar). Just be creative and work together at it and things will be great. We are also free to spill over into the lower section where we had the whiskey tasting a few months back. There are quite a few tables and chairs available down there. Tom is the manager on duty there tomorrow night, so have one of the staff send for him if you need help.Big THANKS also to Rob Snowhite who will be both setting up and running the learning table, which will stay in its original location since it is still under cover. Rob - the cart should be all set for you and the hooks/etc. you need are in the top compartment. Be sure to scoop it up before 6PM.There will be no petition going around to sign regarding the wading issue. Brandon from TRCP has a pretty good plan for how to proceed and will fill you all in when he can. In the meantime, let's keep it positive and have a great time together. See you all at the next one!Dan DavalaOh, and if one or two of you could please take a few pictures and post them as a follow up to the BEER TIE I would very much appreciate it. Thanks in advance!--
