{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Stolen Equipment

Thanks, Dalton. I wasn't actual at my place and don't have renter's insurance, so I'm pretty much screwed.  All in all, about $500 worth of stuff.  Luckily, my truck has a trunk compartment that isn't very noticeable and I had most of my stuff, including my rods, in there.

I feel you Bill, the same happened to me several years back with a few thousand dollars of fishing gear. I left a bag with 7 or 8 reels in my car along with a few rods that go nabbed in an attempted theft of my car. I'd call the local Orvis shops and let them look out for someone trying to return the equipment.

Additionally, have you called your renters or homeowners insurance company yet? Your deductible may be too high to worry about this, but my insurance company paid out for all of my gear minus the deductible because the car was parked near my house.
