{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: San Antonio

I have fished the laguna madre just north of south padre for redfish.  It is a bit of a drive from san antonio but was a neat place to fish.  Probably my favorite place that I have fished for them.  Not much as far as wade opportunites but I did find some around south padre.

I have not been but I have a friend who fishes the texas hill country for different types of bass.  Supposed to be a cool fishery.

Hey everyone, I will be spending some time in San Antonio at the end of this month into the beginning of Feb. Does anyone have any scoop they'ed like to share about the regions culture, and of course the fishing?

It seems the Colorado river runs above me, and the coast below looks promising for red fish. I'm going to book a guide for red fish, but I'll probably explore the Colorado myself.

Thanks,

Justin
