{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Favorite nymphs?

Not a tier, but had a friend years ago that tied up a bead-head pheasant tail on a curved, scud-type hook, except without the normal head, and with what I think was an extra whip finish. In retrospect, it was basically a hybrid between a zebra midge and a pheasant tail. Absolutely the deadliest nymph I ever fished with - turned bad days into good ones on a bunch of different streams.

I'll start - though I haven't had a chance to fish it yet, I love the look of the 3 dollar dip (tim flagler has a video), so I tied up a bunch of those in different colors.
