Do you work on the hill?

Hi Dan,

I apologize for the post. Two of my female friends are among those depicted and I didn't imagine anyone would be offended, especially since in my own mind I was genuinely interested in learning what the fish in question were. I apologize for not being more circumspect.

That said, I'd like to cite the hunting post (adjacent upon time of posting to this one) as inappropriate for this forum. The hunting of wild animals is a past time whose sole purpose (given there isn't a 'release' option as in fishing) is ... well, the destruction of living animals. It is difficult for me to distinguish between hunting deer and abusing/destroying domesticated animals without cause. One can make the argument that one group is domesticated and the other group is wild. However, the animal in question had no say in the matter when born.

For my part, I strongly prefer that discussions about hunting occupy another forum entirely.

Sincerely,
Lane

We need to increase our membership drive.

Lane and all,

We do have a great many lady TPFRers so please keep it respectable.  The above link is inappropriate for this forum so it will be removed.  While there are a lot of great ways to showcase, celebrate, and encourage the rise in women taking up the sport of angling, I believe doing so in an overtly sexual manner can have the opposite effect.
