{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} warm weather blue cats

Caught this on the Georgetown waterfront tonight. On conventional tackle and cut bait...but was still super fun. I was out fishing with non-fly fishing friends and had a blast out there. We had quite a big crowd of onlookers headed to bars as this was pulled in. Measured at 33" and about 15 lbs. Caught another like this and one half its weight.

Get out in this warm weather while you can! I'll be out there again tomorrow afternoon on the VA side by TR island. And then back to 4MR over the xmas break when it's cold again!

Fly safe,

Will
